Abstract
Legal education is in a state of crisis and overabundance simultaneously which ought to be impossible. The paper shows how legal education is globalizing in a similar way to law firms with the main contest being between US and UK style legal educations. At present the US style is becoming the dominant form. Despite this legal education in the US is suffering as law school enrollments decline whereas law school applications in the UK are stable. Using the prisms of globalization, technology and regulation the paper shows how this came about and where it might end.
