Abstract

This article discusses the federal regulatory program to control air emissions and fuel economy from heavy-duty road vehicles. It includes a discussion of the EPA's Tier 2 standards and the proposed Tier 3 standards as well as the rules to control greenhouse gas emissions from heavy-duty vehicles.
