Abstract

A paper submitted by our panel to the American Bar Association's Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee's annual meeting. This paper addresses, first, the coverage issues presented in connection with firearm-related claims. Second, this paper addresses firearms law, and the considerations that defense counsel (and insurers, if they are defending the claim) may need to take into account in evaluating liability and exposure.
