Abstract

Private enforcement, one of the currently highly debated topics in European competition law, will be at heart of one of the panels during the upcoming 21st St. Gallen International Competition Law Forum ICF. The ICF will take place in St. Gallen, Switzerland on May 15th and 16th 2014.

The attached interview between Prof. Dr. Andreas Heinemann (Professor of Commercial, Economic and European Law, University of Zurich; Vice-President, Swiss Competition Commission) and Peter Freeman (Chairman, UK Competition Appeal Tribunal; Former Chairman, UK Competition Commission) gives you a brief introduction to the topic, outlines some current issues and serves as a perfect outlook about what to expect during the discussions in St. Gallen.
