Abstract

Getting to grips with links and copyright. That is the theme of this presentation, delivered at the Fordham IP Conference in New York on 25 April 2014. It summarizes the main angles and impact of the latest decision of the Court of Justice of the European Union in the Svensson case (decision of 13 Feb. 2014, case C-466/12).

The presentation builds on the author's article 'Why Copyright and Linking can Tango' published in the Journal of Intellectual Property Law & Practice 2014 Vol 9, Issue 6 p. 495-506 (available at http://ssrn.com/abstract=2333686).
