Abstract

Research on services' location has been carried out over the last decades. During this wide research process many progresses were achieved aiming to face efficiently the demanding services' location issues.

The objectives of this research work include the analysis of today fire-fighting services (public emergency service) in a city of Angola, and to conclude about the necessities of dry fire hydrants as a normal functioning backup. A maximum coverage location model is implemented, given that the core of this work results of emergency services location.

The Maximum Coverage and Bacop models are empirically tested and results are compared.
