Russian Abstract: В статье рассказывается об этапах сооружения в 1945-1948 годах первого предприятия атомной промышленности СССР – ядерного реактора комбината № 817. Рассмотрены вопросы организации строительства уникального промышленного объекта, показаны методы стимулирования труда заключенных ГУЛАГа, военных строителей и спецпереселенцев в экстремальных условиях.

English Abstract: The article discloses the stages of the construction of the first enterprise of atomic industry in the USSR in 1945-1948 – the nuclear reactor of the enterprise № 817. The issues of the construction organisation of the unique industrial object are examined, the methods used to stimulate the work of the Gulag prisoners, military builders and settlers in the extreme conditions are shown.
