The Impact of the Labor Market Evolutions on the Students’ Attitude Towards the Education

Abstract

In the recent years, the economic development, the implantation of the foreign capital companies, the workers migration and the adhesion to the E.U. led to important changes in the labor market from Romania. Thus, the offer of jobs for the people with high studies increased and is more diversified. However, the bigger and bigger number of graduates from the universities still maintains the difficulty of finding well – paid jobs. In these circumstances, for the students it became important the high education to focus on that knowledge useful for their employment. In this article we explore, based on our investigation, the aspects the students consider as relevant for getting a job. We also approach their visions regarding the changes would be realized in the high education system so that it may become more efficient from the point of view of the necessary for employment knowledge.
