Abstract

Introduction to Symposium on Contracts from International Conference on Contracts held at St. Thomas University School of Law February 2014. The Introduction highlights the papers of Professors John Murray (battle of the forms) and Joseph Perillo (parol evidence) and Dr. Roni Rosenberg's observations about the interrelationship of contract, duty and criminal responsibility. The Introduction observes that traditional contract doctrine retains an ever important position alongside emerging contracting issues arising from technological advances, complicated transactions and a global economy.
