Abstract
This article published in the Editorial of the Hindu Business Line, a leading national daily newspaper in India argues that there is an urgent need to define micro insurance in India that is acceptable universally so that performances can be compared to evaluate the reach of insurance to the Bottom of Pyramid populations.
