Abstract

Polyvinyl chloride particles(PVC) with various volume fraction (30 ,50 and 70% ) was used to enhance the mechanical properties of Acrylonitrile-Butadiene Rubber (NBR). It is worth noting that after reinforcing NBR with PVC particles, tensile strength and elongation will decrease with adding PVC and continuo decreased with increasing of PVC content, while compression strength will increase with increasing PVC content.
