Abstract

In this paper, we single out the existence of meaningful complementarities between the French and Moldovan higher education systems. In spite of systemic heterogeneity characterizing the two countries, we show that they would both benefit from closer cooperation in the field of higher education in terms of potential synergies and spillover effects. Lastly, we present the implications for the enhancement of economic growth.
