Abstract

French Abstract: La publicité a gagné une ampleur particulière de nos jours. En Roumanie, notamment pendant la dernière décennie, on assiste à une croissance spectaculaire de la publicité en termes financiers, mais aussi en ce qui concerne la diversité des approches au cadre des campagnes publicitaires. Cette évolution a transformé la publicité dans une présence quotidienne significative, parfois même intrusive. Dans ce contexte, le problème de la moralité des techniques et des campagnes publicitaires se pose non seulement auprès des spécialistes en publicité, mais aussi auprès du public large.

Ce travail traite l’analyse du développement du degré de la réglementation de la publicité en Roumanie, exclusivement à travers la limitation des abus et des lacunes de nature éthique. L’enquête poursuit plusieurs directions: l’analyse du degré de prise de conscience parmi les professionnels de la publicité en ce qui concerne les aspects éthiques liés à leur domaine d’activité, l’analyse des opinions des professionnels concernant les pratiques non-éthiques de Roumanie, la formation de la déontologie professionnelle (comme l’existence de codes éthiques ou d’organisations professionnelles à responsabilités éthiques), tout comme l’analyse de l’évolution du système législatif spécifique.

English Abstract: Advertising has won a special significance today. In Romania, especially during the last decade, there has been a dramatic growth in advertising in financial terms, but also in regard to the diversity of approaches to the frame of advertising campaigns. This has transformed advertising in a significant daily presence, sometimes intrusive. In this context, the problem of morality of the advertising campaigns arises not only from specialists in advertising, but also from the wider public.

This work deals with the analysis of the development of the degree of regulation of advertising in Romania exclusively, by limiting abuses and ethical shortcomings. The survey has several directions: the analysis of the degree of awareness among advertising professionals regarding the ethical aspects of their activities, analysis of professional opinions regarding unethical practices in Romania, the formation of professional ethics (such as the existence of codes of ethics or professional organizations with ethical responsibilities) as well as the analysis of the evolution of specific legislative system.
