Abstract

Cleanliness is next to Godliness. If India is to be pursued to become spic and clean, the pre-requisite is pursing it as a rigour, a religion, and/or a realisation! It should need a cultural change - a seiketsu, for real transformation to environmental beautification.

[Shitsuke - Commitment (Actually this is a typical teaching and building of an attitude towards any undertaking to inspire pride and adherence to standards established for the other components)]

This paper shows the significance and progress of the small endeavour. It simultaneously argues that this drive is only a lower level expectation. The real momentum shall accrue to have started when the transformation graduates to a level of spiritual cleaning. Howsoever small it may be, but the Change has started. May be from modest support of a few, we believe swach Bharat shall become a movement - a drive - of driving away the filth from multidomains.
