French Abstract: L’Atlas de l’Union européenne élargie rassemble 40 cartes en couleur de l’Union européenne et des pays candidats ou ayant « vocation » à adhérer (Balkans occidentaux). Chaque carte est accompagnée d’un commentaire. Les auteurs présentent les dimensions géographiques, géopolitiques, stratégiques, démographiques, économiques, institution-nelles et sociétales de la nouvelle Union européenne. Ils proposent également une ap-proche prospective.

English Abstract: The Atlas of the enlarged European Union brings together 40 color maps of the European Union and candidate countries or with "calling" to join (Western Balkans). Each map is accompanied by a commentary. The authors present the geographical dimensions, geopolitical, strategic, demographic, economic, institutional and societal of the new European Union. They also offer a prospective approach.
