Abstract

This study aims to provide an overview that can be used by Probolinggo shallot farmers in improving the economic scale of the famous quality shallot as superior agricultural commodities in Probolinggo. Creativity on shallot commodity processing skills can increase the added value and longer time to enjoy the results of these agriculture commodities.

This study also aims to reflect the spiritual values of Sharia law in the calculation of value added where this aspect can fulfill aspects of justice to all parties involved. Thus, each activity is an accountability manifestation of shallot farmer as God's representative on earth (khalifatullah fil ard) and as an abd Allah dimensions which is the submission and obedience to God, which will lead to the fulfillment of the main objectives of Sharia: welfare (Maslahah) for humans as personal and social beings, as well as good contributor to the natural surroundings, with the distribution of wealth is lawful, Thoyib and elimination of usury.

The research method used in this study is Triangulation method, which is an integration between the Quantitative calculation of the value added in the form of Sharia and Qualitative form of Transcendental Phenomenology, which gather information from informants in detail by observing the development of the phenomenon of Sharia society.

The analytical method used in this study is to set the amount of Sharia Added Value and Transcendental Phenomenology analysis in the form of reduction and elimination of in-depth interviews.

The results obtained demonstrate economically income will increase to over 200%, as well as processed commodities which can last up to 6 months. Most importantly, the increase in spiritual values on farm and off farm for shallot farmers in Probolinggo.
