Abstract

The paper is a comparative study of two firms in Brazil which implemented an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The main purpose of this research is to identify organizational changes related to the use of this type of system. The results demonstrate the technological, structural and behavioral changes that can be associated with the use of ERP. Despite this results can not make possible a wide generalization, they contribute for the organizations that are analyzing the possibility of implementation an ERP, or already started this process.
