Abstract

Network topology is needed for the fast transmission of data without any occurrence of failure in the network. While many network topologies have been developed, there are several approaches by which the reliable network topology can be used. The basis for network topology is to transmit the maximum number of packets without delay or any failure. In this paper, different network topologies are simulated in network simulator tool (NS2) so that the most reliable network topology can be obtained. The paper provides parameter values of different network topologies. The most reliable network topology can be selected on the basis of obtained parameter values.
