Abstract
The 2015 St.Gallen International Competition Law Forum ICF will host, among other panels on some of the current topics in the field of competition policy and economics, a discussion dealing with issues at the intersection of technology and competition law – the question of the abuse of a dominant position in technology-enabled markets. The Forum will take place in St.Gallen, Switzerland on 23 and 24 April 2015.
The following interview between PROF. DR. PETRA POHLMANN (Professor, Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster) and MAURITS DOLMANS (Attorney-at-Law and Partner, Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton) gives you a detailed introduction into some of the most pressing issues and serves as the perfect outlook for what to expect during the discussion in St.Gallen. The two will be joined during the St.Gallen ICF by SIMON BISHOP (Co-Founder and Partner, RBB Economics) and THEOFANIS CHRISTOFOROU (Director Competition and Mergers, Legal Service, European Commission), who will serve as fellow panel members on the “ABUSE OF DOMINANCE IN TECHNOLOGY- ENABLED MARKETS” panel.
