Abstract

This article describes the various collective-redress mechanisms and types of Foundations (Stichtingen in Dutch) under Dutch law, discusses the proposal that the Dutch legislature has submitted to introduce a Dutch collective action for damages and will conclude with a paragraph that provides investors with a list of questions and issues they need to address when approached by a Dutch Foundation.
