Abstract

Law students are facing increasing pressure to succeed in law school and the competitive job market, and they are experiencing increasing levels of stress as a result. One way law students can help to alleviate stress and become more focused in their studies is through mindfulness meditation. Students can learn to meditate through the instructions in this article and, with regular practice, can become more mindful, or present, in each moment. In addition, meditation is one positive way for students to become practice ready.
