Abstract
English abstract: A reading of some metatheatrical dimensions of Shakespeare's 'Othello', particularly with respect to the intertextual relationship with 'Romeo and Juliet', and with respect to the frame-breaking in the last scene. These aspects of theatrical aesthetics are related, as well, with a reading of the work's patriarchal ideology, as regards gendered violence.
