Abstract

Forthcoming in the William & Mary Law Review, this Note proposes a Takings Clause remedy for victims of real property theft during Jim Crow era race riots. The Note argues that real property claims can overcome many of the typical hurdles faced by reparations claimants, including lack of evidence, standing issues, and statutes of limitation.
