Abstract

Don't trust anyone's business case, including your own, because you're biased. And so is everyone else, experts and laypeople alike. Your business case will therefore also be biased, and likely to fail. You need to explicitly and deliberately de-bias any business case if you want to succeed with it. Learn how here, using powerful Nobel prize-winning theories about the planning fallacy and the outside view, developed by Daniel Kahneman and Amos Tversky.

Keywords: Business case development, business administration, management, project management, behavioral economics, quality assurance, de-biasing, Daniel Kahneman
