Abstract

English Abstract: This article provides a comparative review of environmental law and practice in the United States and the People’s Republic of China, and endeavors to demonstrate the associated environmental liabilities in the real estate industry given consistent interest exhibited by American companies toward China’s real estate market and increasing Chinese investment into US real estate.

Chinese Abstract: 鉴于美国公司对中国房地产始终表现出浓厚的兴趣以及越来越多的中国投资进入美国房地产市场,这份文件提供一个关于美国与中国的环境立法和实践的比较分析,并尽最大可能的展现房地产行业存在的相关环境方面的风险。
