Abstract

In the history of global economic growth and development, the year 2008 had set the pace of recession and almost all countries of the world and enterprises were struggling to come out of the grips of recession. The question of their survival rested on meeting a variety of challenges; grab the new opportunities and formulate various suitable strategies. This had set the beginning of an era, towards the path of global recession to global recovery. The signs of some recovery modes though hazy, were visible during beginning of this decade. The present scenario thus, has thrown unique opportunities and challenges for the trade, industry, environment and the society as a whole necessitating to come out with a new eco-system and reforms to stimulate country’s growth and development in consistence with the themes of ‘Make in India’, ‘Green India’, ‘Skilled India’, ‘Clean India’, ‘Digital India’ vis-à-vis the steps to ease of doing business in India.
