Abstract

For the first time in Internet history, the role of the participants is above the possibilities of the software and that makes the options of social practice of various kinds multiply. Far from being on the sidelines, education also part of this model network participation and sharing makes many of the elements that identify it. Based on an extensive definition of social software, this article reviews their educational derived preliminarily and delves into the collaborative apart as one of the features that explain the transition from traditional models of online learning or e-learning, to new forms of community learning or c-learning.
