Data Stewardship: Data Sharing and (EU) Privacy Legislation (Presentation Slides)

Abstract

Presentation part of the workshop Live healthy, take good care of your heart! (Gezond leven: goed voor je hart, The Hague, 26 August 2016) organized by Hartstichting and ZonMw. The presentation is aimed at the collection and sharing of research data against the background of an changing legal landscape. The presentation zooms in on the difference between anonymous, pseudonymous and personal data. It takes into account the (1) risk based approach towards responsible data stewardship and (2) the different legal ground to take into account when sharing research data.
