Abstract
Nursing education like any other subject fields has grown both vertically and horizontally. Corpus of literature is available in the given subject field produced through both conventional and contemporary means. Besides, as has changed the means of information production in this particular subject field, so has changed the information seeking behaviour among the nursing students and nursing faculty all across the world.
The undergoing review is aimed to look at different variables involved with the electronic information seeking behaviour among nursing students and faculty members, studied by different research scholars all across the world during different periods of time. The study divulges over some prominent factors, directly related to effective access, retrieval and dissemination of electronic information. The study also discusses the changed information seeking environment, especially in the light of the growing use of electronic sources by the academia all across the world with emphasis on nursing, responsible for changing information seeking behaviour among Nursing students and faculty.
