Abstract
Interpretation of love and conscience in the writings of the Cappadocian School (St. Basil the Great, Gregory Nyssen, Gregory of Nazianzus) has its specifics related to the mystical and existential methods of obtaining knowledge of love as the top of conscience in man. From our point of view the conscience is in the dynamics at what sometimes assumes the character of a substantial transformation that a person with a "scorched conscience" through "metanoia" can be conscientious and spiritually transformed. Concept "theosis" is spiritual transformation of human being according to the tradition to the Cappadocian school. Love and conscience are united in the understanding of the Cappadocian thinkers. There is no connection between love and carnal instincts. Love and conscience is clear goodness and does not touch the co man's sin corruption.
