Abstract

This Article examines the positive and the negative forces of eugenics and of genetics in health care management. Unrestricted uses of modern eugenics through scientific efforts of genetic enhancement and engineering must be monitored and restricted. Indeed, scientific advancement must not be pursued blindly. Yet, this Article contends that limited and specific case genetic planning and screening are humane alternatives to the tragedy of infertility in family planning and to the regulation of the population through premature death, famine, and war.
