Abstract
In the field of philosophy, Slavophilism was characterized by the idea of integral knowledge, based on the fullness of life and integrity of the spirit. As N. Berdyaev noted, this idea made possible to overcome abstract idealism of Hegel by Slavophiles and the transition to concrete idealism which is the original fruit of Russian thought. The essence of this transition is that Slavophiles and major Russian thinkers began to look for the substrate of living being in the spiritual experience. It should be noted that European idea overcame abstractness, mostly came to economical monetary materialism. Berdyaev noticed people in Europe have realized "the inevitability of a mystical" while Slavophiles were defenders of Russian identity. However, despite some modern interpretation, Slavophilism weren't anti-Westerners because based on Hegel's philosophy. Slavophiles focused on the idea that the extremes of rationalism and romanticism don't characterize Hegel's philosophy. Hegel's dialectical method and theory of world progress examines the history of peoples as a major stage in the development of global consciousness, reflected in the views of the Slavophiles. Hegel's philosophy impacts on ideas and thought of Slavophiles, as well as the development of further Russian idea's thought.
