Abstract
International Commercial Arbitration has consolidated in the recent decades as a widespread dispute resolution mechanism for solving trans-border business conflicts around the world.
This contribution concentrates on some highlighting features that historically made this mechanism very effective, highlighting the challenges of not losing sight of the cosmopolitan spirit that must guide parties and arbitrators in light of recent developments.
