Abstract

Russian Abstract: Во многих странах инвестиции в человеческий капитал рассматриваются как инструмент стимулирования экономического роста и обеспечения полной занятости, а высокий уровень знаний, навыков и компетенций населения признаются залогом успеха и безопасности государства на мировой арене. Настоящая работа посвящена исследованию понятия человеческого капитала и его эволюции в истории, а также анализу роли человеческого капитала в экономической литературе. Так, в первую очередь нами формулируется определение человеческого капитала. В дальнейшем нами описывается эволюция понятия человеческого капитала в работах зарубежных и отечественных исследователей в области экономики. Затем нами рассматриваются способы измерения человеческого капитала и проводится сравнительный анализ понятий человеческий капитал и человеческий потенциал. В заключении формулируются выводы по результатам проведенного анализа

English Abstract: In many countries, investment in human capital is seen as an instrument to stimulate economic growth and full employment, and a high level of knowledge, skills and competences of the population are recognized as the key to the success and security of the state in the world arena. The paper is devoted to the study of the concept of human capital and its evolution in history, as well as the analysis of the role of human capital in economic literature. So, first of all we formulate the definition of human capital. In the following we describe the evolution of the concept of human capital in the works of foreign and Russian economists. Then we consider the ways of measuring human capital and carry out a comparative analysis of the concepts of human capital and human potential. In conclusion, the results of the analysis are formulated.
