English Abstract: The accountability body is a body in which the active participants, the retirees, the "sleepers" and the financially involved employer(s) are represented. To this body, the board declares accountability for the policy. Prima facie, the accountability body has a clear task: defend the participant's interest. In this article, we outline what means can be used for this purpose and whether it is being used sufficiently. In addition, we raise some questions that the accountability body can put forward when it comes to the interests of the participants.
