Abstract
Discusses the use of the term "dialogue" to describe the interactions between national courts and legislatures in common law jurisdictions on the human rights compatibility or constitutionality of particular measures, and defends the normative merits of this dialogic judicial review against the criticisms made by the advocates of either legislative or judicial supremacy.
