Abstract

This paper summarises some of the findings from a two year study of MBA project teams at a UK university. Key findings are firstly, that the teams occupied four main emotional regimes. A small number fell into another, hybrid regime. Secondly, the analytical matrix developed viewed them in terms of key thematic elements. Thirdly, the interaction generated meta-patterns in the enactment of each team’s, self-transcending story. Fourthly, the structuration processes were seen as a fractal variety and characteristically multiple, entwining, spiral type.
