Abstract
In late 2016, after Donald Trump became President-elect, Damian Radcliffe wrote an article for The Conversation, highlighting how the media and tech industries had helped to make a Trump presidency a reality, contributing to a communication landscape unlike previous elections.
This landscape remains unfamiliar post-election, Radcliffe argues, as journalists and others aim to make sense of the implications of a Trump Presidency on their trade and tradecraft. His piece is republished here, with a coda updating the story of Trump's relationship with these sectors.
