Abstract
At a time when artificial intelligence is becoming ever more real, we would do well to remember the jobs that natural intelligence still needs to do in legal work. Choosing is one of those jobs. This article highlights the central role choice plays in legal work, explores opportunities to better support effective decision making in legal practice, and considers ways to better teach choice making in legal education. It is meant as a practical contribution to the existing academic literature about choice in lawyering work.
