Abstract
Mind uploading. Is it a viable option of personal life extension or not? Does it create "problem of a copy"? How it can be solved if so? What is "I"? Answers on these and similar questions depend on the viewpoint of an individual. That is why two opposite philosophical viewpoints are chosen for an inquiry -- subjectivism and objectivism -- answers will differ in each case. An appropriate philosophy can be chosen to accomplish the goal of survival once the technology of mind uploading becomes available.
