Teaching to Transform - Educating 21st Century Learners

Abstract

This presentation will focus on a pedagogical approach to achieving better assessment outcomes and creating an all-inclusive safe zone where students are free to learn in the classroom / lecture setting. The teaching seminar will explore teaching strategies and teaching methodologies specific to diverse student learning populations. As a higher education faculty for the past sixteen years, I have developed and implemented a pedagogical approach to achieving better assessment outcomes. By creating an all-inclusive classroom and safe zone for learning, students are free to learn. I am given the gift of educating them. I began implementing various assessment strategies and pedagogical practices that created a complete multi-sensory experience for students to achieve better learning outcomes.
