Abstract

The European Legal Semantic Web is gradually emerging, thanks to the development of standardised identifiers, ontologies and document schemes. Still though, one important resource is missing in this information architecture: legal doctrine. This papers discusses the need for a sound identifier for doctrinal publications, the requirements for such a standard and its possible governance.
