Abstract

This article argues that a course (or some instruction) in Negotiation should be required (or strongly recommended) at all law schools, and should be offered earlier in the curriculum and to more students than is the norm. While some lawyers litigate, all lawyers (and all people) negotiate, making this a crucial skill that students should have exposure to while in law school. The article then suggests how to deliver the course in a more cost-effective manner, using adjuncts in conjunction with full-time faculty. .
