Socio-Economic Security of the State

Abstract

The policy of ensuring socio-economic security of the Republic of Belarus for today is based on officially adopted in the country regulatory documents, basic of which are: Constitution of the Republic of Belarus, national security Concept of the Republic of Belarus.

While socio-economic security is considered as a system, composed of internal and external factors, the vital interests of objects of safety of individuals, society, the state, real and potential threats to their security, institutions of security authorities.

Using the analysis of modern approaches in the article the following definition, methodologically, providing analysis of socio-economic security in the national security system: security is the absence, prevention, elimination, minimization of risk (risk, threat, challenge), protection of the object from the effects of internal and external forces (factors) are able to inflict damage or completely destroy.

This article made the following conclusions: security in the social sphere must be regarded as the creation of conditions to mitigate threats to the vital interests of individuals, society and the state; the security must have the qualitative, abstract features, and the safety criteria or its qualitative characteristics it is necessary to speak in evaluating the effectiveness of activities to achieve a certain level of security; socio-economic security of the state is a quality item national security system, characterized by the protection of national economic interests from the challenges, threats and dangers.
