Abstract

Configuration of header plays an important role in determining the performance of radiator. It directly influences the coolant side pressure drop across the radiator and maldistribution among the channels. The present paper investigates the performance of a radiator with three different types of outlet header and finds the most suitable one in terms of maldistribution and pressure drop.
