Abstract

Russian Abstract: В статье на основании анализа работ российских и зарубежных авторов, статистических данных международных организаций рассмотрена проституция как институт, закрепляющий за мужчинами право временно распоряжаться телом проституирующего с целью сексуального удовлетворения. Выделены и охарактеризованы этапы становления проституции как социального института в контексте регулирования сексуальных отношений и нахождения организационно-регламентирующих элементов, формирования, а затем трансформации патриархальной структуры общества.

English Abstract: Based on assessment of Russian and foreign studies and on statistics provided by international organizations, the article views prostitution as an institution that establishes male's right for making use of prostitute’s body on a temporary basis with aim of sexual gratification. There have been specified and characterized stages of formation of prostitution being a social institution in the light of bringing sexual relations under regulation and finding organizational and prescriptive elements, building of patriarchal structure of society followed then by its transformation.
