Abstract

It is the common misconception that top students from top law schools necessarily get the most lucrative contracts, and that they are lionized by headhunters. There is tremendous propaganda in the legal profession as regards the recruitment and retention of top lawyers, and there is a great deal of fake law firm management expertise and misguided opinions that aspire to be scientific but which have nothing to do with any rigorous approach. In my paper, I am also pondering under what conditions a world-class team of lawyers can be built.
