Abstract
Homo sapiens has transformed evolution into an intellectual exercise. Cognitive super-adaptation has enabled humans to significantly accelerate the speed and specificity of evolutionary adaptation. Super-adaptation also offers the most definitive expression of human agency: cognitive innovation that transcends environmental determinism.
