Abstract
The educational discipline "Fundamentals of psychoanalysis" aims to acquaint students of medical universities with a psychodynamically oriented paradigm of understanding the nature of the human psyche in norm, at the neurotic, frontier, and psychotic levels; to disclose the spectrum of diagnostic and therapeutic approaches taking into account the peculiarities of the structure of the psychological organization of the individual patient in order to select the optimal directions of the clinical interview and the system of psychotherapy, medical and psychological rehabilitation.
Objectives: • to substantiate the significance of psychoanalytic principles, methods and techniques for future medical activities; • to open the theory and methodology of psychoanalysis in the context of determining the topic and dynamics, linearity-nonlinearity of mental processes; • to consider technologies of interpretation of unconscious processes, metapsihology of trains, metaphorization of the unconscious; • analyze the basic concepts and categorical units of the psychoanalytic paradigm; • analyze the heuristic possibilities of modern models of psychodynamically oriented therapy: an operationalized psychodynamic approach; interpersonal psychoanalysis; group analytic psychotherapy; clinical psychoanalysis; neuropsychoanalysis. • to determine the current state of methodological support for clinical psychoanalysis, in particular in work with affective, borderline, psychosomatic, psychotic disorders and conditions; • to specify the possibility of correlating categories of psychoanalysis with modern empirical (experimental) psychology; • analyze non-clinical problems of psychoanalysis.

Psychodiagnosis in clinical psychoanalysis. 5. Psychoanalytic techniques. Tricks and treatment planning. Standards of quality of psychoanalytic psychotherapy.
