Abstract

The article deals with the problem of the impact of video games on the social activity of a personality of Russian student. We conducted 50 psychological interview students participated. 25 students were included experimental group (EG) and 25 people were included in the control group (CG). During 3 months members of the experimental group played computer games. After 3 months, 50 students were given the task to organize the social meeting. 3 experts made the analysis of the impact of video games on social activities during the organization of the social meeting. Analysis of the results of interviews with experts on social activity showed how video games positively impact indicator of the social activity of students. We made the conclusion that video games can be used as means of development of indicators of social activity of student’s personality.
